You’re all in the same boat. When you you’re in good company, it’s not so bad to spend time away from him. “I can vent the frustration to my friend and she understands me.” It’s not productive to dwell on the fact that you cannot see him, though. Rather, have fun with your friends and the time will pass quickly. Be sure to pick the right friends to vent with. Some may not be too crazy about listening to you pining.
