3. That you have guy friends.
It’s no secret that learning about guy friends will make your boyfriend suspicious. Comments such as, “A lot of my coworkers are men, and we go out for drinks together after work sometimes, but I don’t tell my boyfriend because I know he’d be hurt,” and “My boyfriend really wanted to tie me down, and it was kind of creepy how he’d always be waiting outside of school for me,” reveal that guys can be every bit as jealous as girls can. Even so, having male friends doesn’t count as cheating, so they can’t get mad at you for it. To prevent them from having to bottle up their fear and stress, make it a point to keep the subject of your guy friends out of any conversation you have with your boyfriend.
