6. You never thank him for taking you out.
Even if you have been dating him for a while, good manners never grow old. As a relationship matures, you may feel bashful about putting your appreciation into words, but a little “thank you” never hurts anyone. If he helps you, make sure to thank him for his effort. If he treats you to dinner, make sure to thank him sincerely. Also, don’t forget to show that you are willing to share the cost of dinner, too. It’s not his job to treat you to dinner every time.
