4. Phones must be turned off when you’re on a date together
It’s rude to be constantly texting a friend while you’re on a date, but it’s not necessary to go the other extreme and keep your phones turned off the whole time. Meet in the middle and make it a fun challenge to see who can go the longest without reaching for their phone, or agree on a convenient time when you can each check your messages.
