“He thinks his jokes are so funny, so when he tells them I feel a bit sorry for him.” Few girls want to criticize their guy’s sense of humor straight up. You don’t want your boyfriend to become the butt of the joke himself, though. If he comes out with a corny old joke, say “That’s so cheesy!” and play the straight man.
