1. Repeatedly praise the things you like: “Look, this is so cute!”
“That should provide him with some hints!” If you admire the things you like in an obvious way when your boyfriend is around, hopefully he’ll begin to understand your likes and dislikes. If you get excessive with your praise, though, he may end up more confused than before, so stick to the things you’d be happy to receive as a gift.
