1. “What a nice guy!” A very broad, generic compliment.
“I don’t know what to say to this. It sounds like I’m neither great nor bad.” A compliment that is too generic sounds like a conversation filler. Instead of a “nice guy,” add your own touch to the comment by making it a little more personal and specific. “You’re such a nice guy, you always think of everything.”
