This often happens when a man invites his girlfriend to meet his family. Family traditions and lifestyles are unique to each of us and you may find some of them awkward to accept at times. You do not need to force yourself to enjoy these awkward traditions, but at a minimum, try to observe them respectfully without criticizing.
